I cloned a 10gb disc to a 160gb one with no problems at all, in a very short time, which was what I bought it for. However, I then decided to create an image on CD R/W for backup but it would not write directly to the CD, displaying a message that there was a media error, despite trying different makes of CD. What I finally did was create an archive on the hard disc split into 700mb chunks then burnt these to CD using Nero. This could have been due to a problem with my CD writer but I have not had any problems before. So, a good product but study the manual carefully, preferably printing it off.”
